Conserving Energy in Container Greenhouses
Energy conservation can significantly offset the escalating fuel cost of winter-grown container stock.Costs are discussed, and a procedure is presented for choosing among the many cultural and structural alternatives available with the aid of illustrative data from a computer model developed at the Maritimes Forest Research Centre. Future re-search needs and industry trends are suggested.
