Propagule Processing: METHOD OF CLEANING: Seed lot was initially processed by working pods with gloved hands. Laboratory Test Sieves, mesh size 14 and 16 are used next to remove pods, stems and non seed material. Seed was then air-screened using an office Clipper, top screen: 1/13 round and a bottom screen: 1/25 round, medium speed, and medium to high air. Number of Seeds per Pound: 477,400, Purity: 99%, X-Ray 100 Seeds: 95% Filled, TZ: 70% (Oregon State University Seed Laboratory Analysis)
Harvesting, Storage and Shipping: Storage: Cold Storage, 33-38 Degrees Fahrenheit
Other Comments: Very small lots present a cleaning and testing challenge, results may not be typical.
