Pre-Planting Treatments: Seeds need 4 months of cold, moist stratification.
Establishment Phase: After the pre-treatment seeds germinate in 2 weeks at 70F. Repot into a quarter gallon containers filled with Growing mix made of 1 part sand and 4 parts of a commercial potting mix containing 40-50% of composted pine bark. Because of its climbing habit and fast growth rate the plant is difficult to control in a greenhouse. Plants are ready for planting within 8-10 weeks from germination.
