First, 3 passes were made with the Westrup Brush machine using a coarse shell, medium stiff brushes at speed 11 to remove the seeds from the flower heads. Small trash was removed with an aspirator set at 0.01 inches of water column. The larger trash was screened out with a 6/24 inch square screen and the seed with hairs were thrown away. |
