METHOD OF CLEANING: Seed lot is first processed using a Westrup Model LA-H laboratory brush machine, with a #14 mantel(with pins), at medium speed. Seeds are then air-screened using an office Clipper, with a top screen: #5 triangle, 2nd run, 1/25 round and a bottom screen: 24 x 24 wire, low speed, medium air. An air column separator, Oregon Seed Blower, is used next for final cleaning and separation. Number of Seeds per Pound: 3,024,000, Purity: 97%, X-Ray 100 Seeds: 84% Filled, TZ: 86%(Oregon State University Seed Laboratory Analysis) |
