A Field Trial Of Year-Round Planting Of "Bullet" Seedlings

In north Mississippi for the past 20 years, seedlings for reforestation have generally been barplanted for 4 months in late winter and early spring by seasonal, unskilled farm labor. However, as costs rise and more expensive semiskilled labor replaces the unskilled force, more economical ways of planting trees must be found.
