Container production of western hemlock in British Columbia
The coastal container nurseries of British Columbia have a long growing season. However. all coastal species cannot reach minimum stock standards by fall planting dates (commencing Oct. 1) when grown outdoors in a simple shadehouse which provides little environmental control.
