Preliminary trials on upgrading Platanus occidentalis with the Helmuth Electrostatic seed separator
The electrostatic seed separator is a recently invented seed conditioning machine which uses the force of an electrostatic field to separate particles of different area and weight. It has been successfully used to size, clean, and improve germination of Platanus occidentalis seed. The seed separator also should be useful on other tree seed.
