Engineering Constraints on Planting Machine Development
Design problems involved in the development of mechanical planters and limitations on such development from an engineering viewpoint are discussed. A major concern is the definition of field requirements for planting machines and the translation of these requirements into engineering specifications suitable for equipment design.
