Charcoal Root Rot and Black Root Rot
Charcoal root rot, caused by the fungus Macrophomina phaseolina (syn. Sclerotium bataticola) affects more than 300 species of plants, including many agricultural crop plants, forest tree seedlings, and native weeds.
