The stalks were run through the Westrup Brush Machine once at speed 11. Medium stiff brushes and a coarse shell (wire 10)were used to separate the seeds from the stems. Two seedlots were cleaned. No further cleaning was done on one seedlot. The other seedlot was aspirated at a vacuum of 0.01 inches of water column to remove light trash. |
