Flats wer covered with ployethylene bags and placed in a walk-in cooler. After 5 weeks, trays were removed. Within a week, excellent germination and seedling vigor was observed. Actual germination is difficult to determine, due to tiny, uncountable seed, but estimated at >80%. No significant differences in emergence or seedling vigor were noted between 5, 10 or 16 week stratified seeds. 0 germinants were observed in control flats. |
