There is little information on germination requirements for D. batocaulon. One study examined germination rates of three other Desmodium species native to the eastern US found that untreated seeds achieved germination rates of 76-97% (Cushwa et al 1968). Subjecting seeds to warm moist and warm dry stratification did not significantly increase these rates (Cushwa et al 1968). |
