Hackberry Seed Sources for Planting in the Southern Great Plains

Two-year height and survival data suggest that sources from the southwestern part of the hackberry's range are the best sources for use in Oklahoma. For growing hackberry for windbreaks and shelterbelts in western and central Oklahoma, using local seed sources is best.
