Pre-Planting Treatments: Seed treatments: None, 30 day cold moist treatment.
Growing Area Preparation/
Annual Practices for Perennial Crops:
Propagation Environment: Greenhouse, 65-70§F day/55§F night. Propagated on orange heat pad (set to 70§F) under tent with misters set 8 am-8 pm, with 10 sec/15 min watering intervals. One week after germination, seedlings were moved to mister area without tent.

Germination media: Fafard Germinating Mix (superfine).

Growing media: Fafard Growing Mix 2.
Establishment Phase: Sowing/planting technique: Sown in 36 pk, 3-5 seeds/slot.

Time to germination: 12-15 days.

Establishment Phase: Germination slow and uneven.

Time to potting: 1 to 1-1/2 months.

Moraine Park (98-044s, 98-122s) sowed 12/4/98; Hollowell Park (98-085s) sowed on 11/16/98.
Harvesting, Storage and Shipping: Seed storage condition: Seed stored in the greenhouse.
Other Comments: Comments: 98-044s was cold, moist treated for one month prior to planting while 98-122s was stored in the refrigerator. Hollowell was stored in greenhouse so cold treatment may or may not be necessary.
