Montana Dept. of Natural Resources & Conservation | Montana Conservation Seedling Nursery
The conservation seedling nursery produces 10 - 175 cu. in. size seedlings from wild collected or source identified seed. These seedlings are used by private landowners, those in the forestry industry, tribes, conservation organizations, government agencies, etc. conducting a conservation project. Conservation projects include but are not limited to, post-fire restoration, pollinator/ wildlife habitat, species diversification, erosion control, etc. In 2022 the MCSN started the MT Native Seed Network and will now be producing seed, we expect to have seed mixes available in 2026.
